About the Company:
Our client is a Bedford based company that offers a Nationwide service. Most of their work is local to Bedfordshire and the Midlands. They install, commission and service fire alarm and fire suppression systems.
The company is constantly growing and diversifying, hence the need for another Engineer. They have a diverse client base that includes Schools, Retail, and Office areas. However, their specialist area is within industrial and distribution centres.
The Job:
They require a full-time Engineer, who is capable of working independently (following induction and necessary training).
Responsibilities include servicing of equipment and systems, as well as installations and commissioning. Whilst they endeavour to keep this to a minimum, associated administration and paperwork will need to be submitted promptly.
You must be willing to work as part of a team, and as such would be required to be on the call out rota. This also means that working hours will be relatively flexible.
A competitive package is offered for the right person that includes transportation, Pension and salary to be negotiated, and will be based on a 40-hour working week.
The Candidate:
Must have experience and relevant qualifications for installation and commissioning of fire alarm panels and systems. Knowledge of conventional and addressable systems is essential.
Full training will be given for the addressable panels that they favour, as well as other areas that are deemed necessary.
Will be within a reasonable commute distance of our client's head office in Bedford, UK.
